For Autumn/Winter 2011 Nougat London introduces a collection inspired by the romantic era of the 1950’s encased in a winter wonderland. Dramatic floral prints, signature Nougat embellishment and party sparkle come together to present a truly captivating collection.
To introduce Fall, abstract prints combined with quirky pearl necklaces, knitted bows and frills create a mismatched mad men style. A strong military feel is introduced at the start of the season continuing through with either classic military colours or detailing. A colour palette of guava, hazelnut, camel and stone with subtle splashes of dark iris and peony reinforces this military vibe.
Mid-season is a gradual move into an ultra feminine winter wonderland of soft pleats, jumper dresses with intricate cut out shoulders, frosty sparkles in subtle tones of rosewood, stone fjord, damask, mineral, tern and shots of silver.
The continued utility styling comes through in sharp tailoring in printed tweeds and wide leg turned-up trousers. And for protection from the elements Nougat introduces a military structured double breasted coat, fur trim alpine sweaters, fine gauge capes, cable knits and jersey maxi skirts.
The Christmas party season is 1930’s combined with a hard edge of Victoriana. Layered flirty ruffle dresses, polka dot and burn out velvet in pale rose, blush and black with ornate embellishment give the party season a luxurious touch.
